We are excited to introduce a new feature that empowers you to customize the Content Spaces included in the Home Feed and Recommendations on your ScaleGrowth platform. This allows you to tailor the user experience based on your users' needs.
To do this:
- Enter Admin if you aren't already
- Go to Settings > Configuration
- Expand the Personalization – Digests, Feeds, Recommendations section
- alternatively, you can head to either the Home Feed or Recommendations view
- then lick on Settings in the top right corner to access only the relevant subset of settings
In here, you will find the following columns for each content Space:
Show in Home Feed – whether the given content Space should be included in Personalized Home Feed for the users who can access it?
Recs On – whether the given content Space should be included in Personalized Recommendations for the users who can access it?
Recs Tab – only applicable if Recs On is enabled – whether the Personalized Recommendations for this space should go into a separate dedicated Tab?
Upsell to User Groups – This is a powerful marketing feature added by popular demand: By default, if a user lacks access to a particular content Space (or Directory), none of the Listings (or Members) from said Space (or Directory) will be included in their Personalized Home Feed or Recommendations. This settings enables you to display items from inaccessible Spaces (or Directories) to specific User Groups even without access – which will then show the user a pay-wall when attempting to click on them. You can utilize this feature to upsell users to higher membership tiers.
