Overview
If a member forgets their password, admins can manually trigger a password reset email using the Password Reset Tool in ScaleGrowth. Follow the steps below to reset a member’s password.
Steps to Reset a Member’s Password:
Step 1: Log in as Admin
Ensure you are logged into your ScaleGrowth Admin account.
Step 2: Navigate to the User Accounts Management Page
Go to: Enter Admin > Manage > User Accounts
Step 3: Open the Password Reset Tool
Click on "Password Reset Tool" from the User Accounts section.
Step 4: Enter the Member’s Email
Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the email address of the member who needs a password reset.
Step 5: Password Reset Email is Sent
Once submitted, the member will receive an email with a password reset link. They can follow the link to create a new password.
Additional Notes
✔️ If the member does not receive the email, ask them to check their spam folder.
✔️ Password reset links expire after a set time for security reasons. If expired, repeat the process.
✔️ Members can also reset their own password using the “Forgot Password” option on the login page.
✔️ The member must already have an existing account to reset their password.
