To find the that control access to the "other" side of 2-Sided Marketplace:
- Enter Admin if you aren't already
- Head to Settings > Configuration > Navigation & Information Architecture
In here, you will find options to:
- Allow
[[Members]]to sign up asProviders]] - Allow
[[Providers]]to sign up as[[Members]]
💡 Please note that [[Members]] and [[Providers]] will be replaced with whatever custom names you give your Members and Providers under Settings > Brand & Design > Platform Naming
If the option to Allow [[Members]] to sign up as [[Providers]] is enabled, Member-only users will always see the choice to switch to the Provider side in the top right Avatar menu. If it's disabled, they won't see that option, and the only way to switch is through Provider-side Onboarding.
The same applies in reverse for Allow [[Providers]] to sign up as [[Members]].
Please note that this only affects users who haven't already accessed the other side. For instance, if you have this Allow [[Members]] to sign up as [[Providers]] turned off and test it with a User Account currently on the Member side which has previously gone through Provider Onboarding, that account will always have the option to switch to the Provider side. However, if you try it with a User Account currently on the Member side which hasn't gone through Provider Onboarding, they won't see the option in the Avatar menu.
