Overview
ScaleGrowth AI’s default infrastructure supports reliable email delivery for the majority of customers following industry-standard best practices – including sending batched digest-style communications rather than multiple individual emails within a short timeframe.
For customers with higher-volume or high-frequency email needs (e.g., sending multiple Recommendation emails per day) or those with poor email reputation (e.g., high spam complaint rates), we offer two optional infrastructure configurations to ensure continued performance:
- Premium Email Routing Service
- Dedicated Email Hosting
1. Premium Email Routing Service
The Premium Email Routing Service leverages a more advanced email provider (e.g., Mailgun) to improve observability, deliverability, and resilience. It is designed for:
- Customers who exceed best practice thresholds (e.g., spam complaint rates over 0.1%)
- Customers who send high-frequency or unbatched individual emails
- Customers who have previously triggered enforcement actions from our primary provider (e.g., AWS SES)
Pricing
The cost for the Premium Email Routing Service is $50/month on top of our standard email rates
Requirement
In some cases, we may require customers with poor sender reputation or complaint rates exceeding 0.1% to upgrade to Premium Email Routing Service in order to continue using ScaleGrowth’s built-in email infrastructure.
Note that this threshold (0.1%) is the industry-standard high-risk cutoff used by nearly all major providers to define reputation boundaries. Deliverability best practices strongly recommend staying below it.
The Premium Email Routing Service is automatically included at no additional cost for Enterprise-tier customers.
2. Dedicated Email Hosting
For teams that prefer complete control over email infrastructure and metrics, we offer Dedicated Email Hosting.
This allows you to connect your own AWS SES or Mailgun account – ScaleGrowth sends through your API keys, and your team manages billing, monitoring, and sending reputation directly.

- Avoids shared platform policies or routing changes
Pricing
The cost for Dedicated Email Hosting is calculated monthly as the greater of $100 or 10% of your total email usage, billed in $10 increments per 10,000 emails sent.
For example:
- If you send 234,000 emails in a month, the usage-based portion is $240 (i.e., 234k ÷ 10k × $10), and 10% of that is $24. Since this is less than the $100 minimum, your Dedicated Email Hosting fee would be $100.
- If you send 2 million emails, the usage-based cost is $2,000, and 10% of that is $200, so your Dedicated Email Hosting fee would be $200.
This fee supports not just the email relaying, but also ScaleGrowth’s powerful and complex Email Automation & Personalization engine, including infrastructure, monitoring, and customer-specific configuration overhead.
