Let's say you want to do a Bulk Import – or as we call it, a Data Load of some type of content or member profiles. And let's say you have some nice images to go with it.
You can add URLs to the images in your CSV, and our Data Load engine is able to go and grab those images, process & optimize them, and store them on ScaleGrowth. But those image URLs need to be publicly accessible for this to work.
If you have a Wix account, you can do it using Wix to host all your images and paste the unique link of the image hosted on Wix. Here is how:
1. Sign in to Your Wix Account
- Go to Wix.com and sign in to your account.
2. Access the Wix Editor
- Choose the site where you want to host the images.
- Click on "Edit Site" to open the Wix Editor.
3. Upload Your Images
- In the Wix Editor, click on the Media icon (it looks like a photo).
- Click on Upload Media.
- Choose the images you want to upload from your computer.
- Wait for the upload to complete. The images will now be stored in your Wix Media Library.
4. Organize Your Images (Optional)
- You can create a new folder in the Media Library to keep your images organized.
- Click on the + New Folder button and move your images into the folder.
5. Get Publicly Accessible Links
- In the Media Library, click on the image you want to share.
- On the right side, you will see an option to Copy URL. Click on it to copy the direct link to the image.
- Repeat this for each image you want to share.
6. Share the Image Links
- The copied URLs are now ready to be shared. You can paste them into an email, document, or directly share them on social media.
7. Test the Links
- To ensure that the links are publicly accessible, paste the URLs into a new browser window where you're not signed into your Wix account. The images should load without requiring a login.
8. Optional: Embed Images on a Web Page
- If you want to embed these images on a Wix page, you can do so by using the "Add" button in the editor, selecting "Image," and then choosing the uploaded images from your Media Library.
By following these steps, you’ll have your images hosted on Wix with publicly accessible links that you can share with others.
